CIDC, as you may be aware is the apex organization, established by the Planning Commission, Govt. of India and Construction Industry.

 It is to place on record that CIDC is a not-for-profit organization and being the apex organization, is responsible to do following, under the mandate received form various Govt. Organizations:

  • To evolve standards of Practice through joint working (with Indian and International Standard Organizations
  • To facilitate implementation of these through demonstrable models
  • To undertake value based assignments to instill good practices, thus developed.
  • To nurture human resources and build institutions.
