Executive Development Program on “Understanding Energy Needs and Alternative Energy Sources” from 1st & 2nd September, 2023

I take this opportunity to introduce Construction Industry Development Council as an apex body established by the Planning Commission (Now Niti Ayog), Govt. of India and the construction industry since 1996 with the mandate to improve, strengthen and develop all aspects of the Construction Industry in India.

Modern buildings built in our cities have high levels of energy consumption because of requirements of air-conditioning and lighting. Such buildings consume copious quantities of water for building use and landscaping; and generate substantial waste during construction and operation.  With the growing stock of buildings, the potential for enhancing resource efficiency in existing and future buildings.

Besides the ongoing research and development in the field there is a need to share the information with the working professionals for its utilization.  As part of our endeavors to intensify training initiatives we are organizing specialized training programs on “Understanding Energy Needs and Alternative Energy Sources” from 1st & 2nd September, 2023 at VKP, Faridabad for the working professionals to update their knowledge. I am sure this would be very useful for your officers and therefore, I request you to nominate some of your officers to attend the same.
